Kelly Murphy

Founder Kelly has spent decades in the aviation industry from learning to fly at age 16, writing and editing a number of various aviation publications, to supporting clients around the globe in all sectors of the industry including general aviation, business aviation, commercial airlines and manufacturers, as well as a number of aviation-related associations and foundations.

She will mark 25 years with Emerald Media in 2018 as the founding US partner with Alison. and is the former editor of the Regional Airline Association's official publication Regional Horizons and supported Flight Safety Foundation's magazine AeroSafety World. Kelly is the former editor of Professional Pilot magazine, Commuter/Regional Airline News and Water Flying magazine. She draws on her years of experience in the print and digital publication business to run the group's publishing ventures including newsletters, magazines, brochures and presentations.

Currently, she is the editor-in-chief of Aviation for Women and Aviation for Girls magazine, the official publications of Women in Aviation International (WAI). She also serves as WAI's director-of-communications ensuring the nearly 14,000 members of Women in Aviation International have a voice around the world for their contributions to the aviation sector.

For decades, Emerald Media in the UK and US ran show daily publications for both the European Region's Airline Association and the US Regional Airline Association communicating the news of their respective annual conventions.

Kelly is a member of the Aero Club of Washington, Angel Flights volunteer mission flying, a private pilot license holder and a speaker at various aviation youth events to inspire the next generation of pilots, technicians and communicators in this industry.
