Elit'Avia Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Puja Mahajan a business aircraft flight operations and program management professional with 17 years of industry experience

Elit'Avia, a fully-integrated provider of business aircraft charter, management and operation services, today announced the appointment of Ms. Puja Mahajan as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Ms. Mahajan's mandate is to manage Elit'Avia's growth strategy, ensure safety across all operations and deliver an industry-leading caliber of client service. Until most recently, Puja was Director of Business Aircraft Flight Operations at Bombardier Aerospace, where, among other accomplishments, she ran the award-winning 'Safety Standdown Program' for five years.

Born and raised in Canada, Ms. Puja Mahajan started her career in aviation in 1996 when she joined Pratt & Whitney Canada as an Aerodynamics Engineer. Subsequently, Puja was promoted to OEM Account Manager. Then in 2001, Puja Mahajan joined Bombardier Aerospace and held several progressively senior roles, including: Manager, Product Planning for Challenger and Learjet; Asset Manager, Flight Operations; Director, Sales Business Management and Director, Business Aircraft Flight Operations. Puja holds a BEng, Mechanical from McGill in Montreal, Canada. She is fluently bilingual (English and French) and speaks intermediate level Italian and Hindi.
