JETS, the growing business aviation MRO is further expanding its sales and commercial team with the appointment of Derick Naude as Senior Sales and Commercial Representative, effective immediately. Derick joins JETS from Embraer Executive Aircraft where he previously held the position of Customer Support Representative for the UK.
Derick will be primarily responsible for MRO sales management as well as customer relationship management, business development and all aspects of commercial management for the company's Bournemouth and Biggin Hill facilities. He will be based at Biggin Hill and will report to JETS MD Alan Barnes, along with the other members of the sales team.
Derick brings over 25 years' professional, international aviation experience to the role with particular expertise in engineering, sales and customer relations. At Embraer he was responsible for supporting customers with pre-owned aircraft as well as new aircraft entering service in the UK.
Prior to this, Derick gained highly relevant sales and customer relations experience with National Airways Corporation (NAC) in South Africa, the former Hawker Beechcraft Ltd. in North Wales and Pratt & Whitney in South Africa. Prior to starting his commercial aviation career in 1999, he served in the South African Air Force for 11 years.
