Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's expanding carrier, recently attended the inaugural London Coffee Stop Awards to present White Mulberries voted London's Best Coffee Shop with two return flights to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. Michael Yohannes, Senior Sales Representative and Mario Marsilla, Sales Administration Manager of Ethiopian Airlines presented the lucky winners with their tickets at Ozone Coffee in Shoreditch following a competition drawing over 18,000 votes from Londoners.
Over 200 independent and 1200 branded coffee shops took part in the competition which was part-sponsored by Ethiopian Airlines.
Mario Marsilla said: "We are very pleased to award these tickets to Addis Ababa aboard Ethiopian's B787 Dreamliner to the worthy winners, White Mulberries. Most appropriately, Ethiopia is the home of coffee so we anticipate that they will find their visit veryappealing."
The lucky winners will enjoy even more choice when reserving their flights as the airline steps up to daily services to Addis Ababa from London Heathrow from July 8th, closely followed by its move on September 17th to the brand new Queens Terminal 2 at London Heathrow.
The Coffee Stop Awards were developed by organiser Chris Ward who created a London Coffee Stops Tube map highlighting some of the city's best coffee locations.
