Following the recent creation of an independent company and revamped brand, Executive jet in-flight experience provider On Air Dining has appointed Kevin Ducksbury to the role of General Manager with immediate effect. Kevin brings a wealth of industry knowledge and an enviable network of contacts to the expanding aviation catering business having worked at UK air charter company, Air Partner for over 12 years. In his new role, he will work closely with the company's Managing Director, Daniel Hulme to run the day to day operations at the in-flight dining provider.
During his tenure at Air Partner, Kevin held senior management positions including International Business Development Director where he sat on the company's operating board and was responsible for launching new international markets including Air Partner Benelux and Air Partner Sweden. Subsequently, he held the position of Director for Middle East and Asia based in Dubai where he was responsible for launching Air Partner Turkey in Istanbul as well as establishing partnerships in India, China and Japan.
Kevin began his aviation career in 1987 as an Administrator in the crew rostering department at Monarch Airlines in Luton. Over a 10 year period, he gained highly valuable experience in operations and maintenance planning before progressing to commercial sales where he sold ad-hoc charters on Monarch's free capacity.
"I am delighted to welcome Kevin to On Air Dining at such an exciting time in the company's development. Having just rebranded and launched as an independent company, now is the perfect time to develop our management team. Kevin's air charter experience will be highly valuable to us as we grow our business." Said Daniel Hulme.
On Air Dining launched in March following four years' building expertise in the inflight cuisine arena in partnership with the Alison Price & Company brand. Under the leadership of executive in-flight dining pioneer Daniel Hulme, the business boasts new ownership, new investment, and a new brand with the clear message that On Air Dining is the benchmark for the provision of a unique dining experience aboard business jets.
Daniel and his talented team have already introduced tailored international menus including Russian, Arabian, Nigerian, Japanese and most recently Chinese selections, ensuring the company can provide its international client base with the best in airborne cuisine. Daniel has ambitions to expand On Air Dining's global presence over the next five years and bring further international flavours to the mix.
