Jota Aviation, the independently owned UK air charter specialist, has provided its 20th flight to support the Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance UK (NCCA UK). The NCCA UK helps children access potentially life-saving treatment for neuroblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer. Marking its 20th mission for NCCA UK, Jota Aviation with the assistance of charter broker Jet Logic, recently flew 10 year old Mackenzie Furniss to Stuttgart, Germany for specialist immunotherapy treatment for neuroblastoma.
Jota Aviation has provided flights for NCCA UK since 2012 to help sick children access specialist treatment in the UK and abroad. Jota Aviation's first mission for NCCA UK was to support 12 year old cancer patient Vanessa Riddle with flights to Stuttgart to receive specialist treatment. Since then Jota Aviation has provided 11 flights for Vanessa who is doing well.
Mike Sessions, Commercial Manager, Jota Aviation said: "We are very pleased to be supporting our 20th flight for this highly worthwhile charity and we wish Mackenzie and her family well. We hope to continue to provide as many flights as possible to help children like Mackenzie and Vanessa receive the treatment that they desperately need."
Having assisted with 20 flights, Jota Aviation wanted to do more to help those affected by this illness and have set up a Just Giving page to encourage donations from the wider aviation community. Mike Sessions comments: "Many of us here at Jota have children of our own and our hearts go out to those families faced with fighting this illness. We would like to encourage the wider aviation community to join with us and support this very worthwhile cause by making a donation."
To support NCCA UK, go to www.justgiving.com/jotaaviation webpage or send a text saying JOTA78 to 70070 and include your donation amount £1 - £10. Donations received will go directly to NCCA UK.
