MSB Design lines up Embraer Legacy for Crystal, China and Flatware (CCF) inserts.

Montreal, Canada based precision engineering company MSB Design announced today a new agreement with Embraer Aircraft to provide its Legacy family of aircraft with bespoke produced Crystal, China and Flatware (CCF) inserts. The protective products, meticulously designed to securely hold dining-ware, will be offered as an optional item to customers purchasing models from the new Legacy 450/500 family of aircraft. The product has been available to Lineage 1000 owners since 2013, and following positive feedback from customers the CCFs are now being made available for new series Legacy purchasers.

Each insert is made of light-weight, but strong, precision cut high density foam that has been certified for full aviation use. The product is then completed with a variety of finishes that are selected by the client. Fine precision engineering ensures it is cut to match the contours, surface and shape of the dishes, glasses, and cutlery, in addition to the dimensions of the cabinets and drawers where the dining wear is stowed.  This ensures full protection, safe storage and drastically reduces the noise of the items rattling during take off, flight and landing.

Legacy customers will be able to select one of five dish sets offered by Embraer for which MSB Design has created specific CCF inlays, or they can choose their own preferred style preferences and have the CCF inserts created around them.

MSB Design can also produce inserts for a wide variety of inflight needs including galley trolley conversions, storage of vases, bottles, serving bowls and any fragile item that needs to be safely stowed or displayed on board. As tailor-made items inserts can also be replaced as new china is selected, aircraft are refurbished, or changes to finishes are required.

MSB Design looks forward to welcoming delegates visiting NBAA this week on Booth 3697. The CCF inserts will be on show on the Embraer Lineage aircraft on the NBAA static.
