Business up 15% in the UK in 2014 as business aviation recovers.
First Class Cars, the UK's leading independent chauffeur car company serving the business aviation fraternity, is bolstering its fleet with the addition of a brand new 16-seater Mercedes Sprinter VIP coach, complete with WiFi, in-seat tv and plush all leather seating, standard fit in First Class Cars' vehicles. The coach arrived just this week and will be based at the company's London Stansted Airport base, serving primarily Stansted - and its five FBOs and London Luton Airport's FBOs, available for bookable from early April.
In addition the company, headed by Managing Director Graham Coate and now in its 16th year, is adding a brand new, top of the range, Range Rover Autobiography Long Wheelbase in May, together with six new Mercedes-Benz V class seven-seaters to bolster capability at Luton, Stansted and Farnborough Airports. Four new S class Mercedes will be added in June to complete the shopping list, boosting First Class Cars' total chauffeur fleet to 35 vehicles. All will be available to book at First Class Cars bases, including London Stansted Airport, London Luton and TAG Farnborough Airports.
Founder and Managing Director Graham Coate said: "Our chauffeur business was up 15% last year, reflecting a positive lift in business aviation movements in the UK. We are continuing to see more activity with the larger wide-bodied jets especially at London Stansted and Farnborough, and this was a key factor in making the investment in larger vehicles."
First Class Cars' Global Service now in place Worldwide:
Graham and Nancy Coate are attending this week's NBAA's Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference in San Jose, California (February 3-6th) to talk up their complementary ground transportation offerings and promote their new global partnerships, which are now in place throughout major cities across the World.
First Class Cars launched the new global service in 2014 in partnership with affiliates at major international destinations including Paris, Milan, New York, Dubai, Moscow and Beijing, enabling clients to experience the same high level of service as First Class Cars across the world. "On meeting potential partners, I was insistent that certain service standards had to be met, all drivers had to be security vetted, all cars comfortable and luxurious. I am pleased to say that the international network is now complete and First Class affiliates primed and in place throughout the world's major cities," Graham said.
Complementing this initiative, First Class has rolled out a Global VIP Loyalty Card which offers benefits for clients travelling worldwide on a regular basis.
First Class Cars has grown from a fleet of one vehicle, originally driven by Graham himself, to a sizeable company employing knowledgeable, smart and customer focused drivers with a fleet of premium vehicles.
First Class Cars drivers are all uniformed with tailored suits, each furnished with full knowledge of client destination, and the option to change routes as required. In addition to its operating bases at Luton, Stansted and TAG Farnborough Airports, First Class Cars regularly serves clients at Biggin Hill, Heathrow and Gatwick, RAF Northolt, The London Heliport in Battersea and London Ashford Lydd Airports.
The company boasts a discerning international clientele from the music and film industries, who demand a high level of service, together with numerous blue chip companies.
