EAN Aviation, the Lagos-based integrated business aviation services company, returns to EBACE (African Pavilion, Booth A065) with the news that it is completely refurbishing its FBO VIP Lounge at Murtala Muhammed International Airport following a period of increased customer demand. The facility, which represents a sizeable investment, will be completed to the highest international standards and reinforces the company's commitment to provide a superior quality of service for its customers. Managed by EAN's team of highly trained customer relations and operations staff, the FBO will be headed by Tayo Aiyetan, an aviation professional with over eighteen years experience, and a proven track record of excellent service delivery across Africa. It is anticipated that the FBO renovation will be complete by 1 July 2015.
The new VIP Lounge, which comprises approximately 170 square meters of floor space, has been thoughtfully designed to create a contemporary look and feel. The interior blends visual elements from the aviation world with contemporary styling whilst considering the varying needs of visitors. The combination will generate a high degree of elegance, comfort and privacy whilst maintaining full functionality and efficiency for passengers and crew.
Key features include comfortable, spacious seating for up to 25 passengers at any one time, whilst a separate private area provides further sumptuous seating for up to eight passengers. There is a dedicated buffet providing light refreshments, along with a selection of hot and cold beverages.
The designated crew area inside the VIP Lounge incorporates a new crew flight planning workstation with the latest connectivity and printing facilities. Also, a comfortable seating area will complement the existing crew offering that offers hotel style accommodation and a relaxation lounge.
The new-look modern FBO has been designed by Project Interiors - a vibrant Nigerian company that specialises in commercial design projects. The style was inspired by modern African luxury and much emphasis has been placed on creating surroundings that customers will feel completely at ease in, but that still offer a contemporary look. Local artwork, patterns and objets d'art will blend to add an authentic Nigerian ambience. During the revamp, a temporary lounge is being provided to offer the luxury and comfort EAN Aviation has become well known for offering.
Segun Demuren, CEO of EAN commented: "As an independent FBO we wanted to create our own look and feel. We think the result will really delight our customers and all of the team at EAN is excited about the plans. Our current facility provides a seamless experience for our customers but with our planned offering clients will be welcomed into a stylish, well appointed, luxurious environment that has been designed to enhance our excellent customer service and exceed their expectations."
EAN's FBO serves a wide range of clients including those travelling for domestic leisure or business reasons, through to executive shuttles and global passengers travelling on heavy metal from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and America.
Once open the new-look FBO will continue to offer its full range of business aviation services including flight planning and dispatch services; full ground services; ground power supply (electric and diesel); 24 hour manned security; in-flight catering; laundry service for cabin linen and dry-cleaning; crew transport; free Wi-Fi; hangarage; free secure car parking and dispatch services in Abuja and Port-Harcourt.
