Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation is pleased to announce that it has introduced its first Gulfstream G550 business jet to its growing charter fleet. The G550 aircraft which marks the company's first to be based in Prague, Czech Republic, will primarily serve Vertis' Central European and Russian-based clientele. The highly popular intercontinental range business jet which is available for immediate charter will be operated by G-JET s.r.o. (formerly known as Grossmann Jet Service) and based at Vaclav Havel Airport.
The high performance, ultra-long range business jet is ideally suited for leisure trips or for executive business travel and offers a large cabin with seating for up to 15 passengers in luxurious comfort so that clients can stretch out and relax or work productively. Uniquely, the interior also features a custom shower with custom closet so that busy executives can freshen up between appointments. The immaculate pale cream and charcoal grey interior which is both well-appointed and stylish comprises three sections which include: a forward four-seat club section plus an individual seat; a four-seat conference grouping in the mid-section; and two, three-place divans in the aft section. Additional features to make the on-board experience more enjoyable include: lie-flat seats so that passengers can enjoy complete rest; a lower cabin altitude which reduces fatigue on long haul flights; advanced sound suppression which makes for a quieter cabin and Gulfstream's signature large oval windows for added natural light. Equipped with a full communications suite the G550 offers Wi-Fi connectivity, satellite television, satellite phone and four widescreen, High Definition, LCD monitors.
With a maximum range of 6750 nm and a luxurious and fully equipped interior, Vertis anticipates that the aircraft will appeal to a discerning range of clients from celebrities to members of royalty to senior business executives.
"We are very excited to be introducing our first Gulfstream G550 aircraft into our fleet and the first to be based in Prague. We anticipate that this superb aircraft will prove very popular with our existing clientele especially in Central Europe but also attract new business from nearby Russia. It will also serve to nicely complement our existing Gulfstream G650 based in Switzerland which has been in high demand since its introduction last year," said Jeffrey Emmenis, Partner at Vertis Aviation.
The new Gulfstream G550 joins a varied long range charter fleet which Vertis markets on behalf of its operating partners. The portfolio includes Gulfstream G650, Gulfstream G450, Bombardier Global 6000, four Airbus ACJ corporate jets, Boeing 727 VIP, Boeing Business Jet, Bombardier Global XRS aircraft, Bombardier Global Express, Dassault Falcon 7X and a Lear 45.
Based in Zug, Switzerland, Vertis Aviation continues to form marketing alliances with preferred suppliers and leading aircraft operators to exclusively market a premiere fleet of aircraft that can be offered for private and corporate charter.
