Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group has won the coveted Aerospace and Defence Award at the prestigious Insider Made in England Awards 2015.
To qualify for the national final, Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group had first to win the Aerospace and Defence Award and the Apprentice and Training scheme Award at the East and Central regional finals.
Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover and other world-class manufacturers were among some of the winners and shortlisted businesses in the nine categories - the winners, were announced at the Insider Made in England National Awards held at St George's Hall in Liverpool.
The judges commented: "Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group specialises in the conversion, modification, maintenance and support of civil, military and business aircraft and defence solutions - they have local impact with a global reach".

Recent industry accolades include:
• 2014 - A Boeing Supplier of the Year Award in recognition of Marshall's performance in manufacturing and supplying fuel tanks for the US Navy P-8 maritime reconnaissance fleet. This award was one of only 15 to be issued to Boeing's 23,000+ suppliers.
• 2013 - A Royal Air Force's Chief of the Air Staff's Commendation in recognition of Marshall's role in 'Operation Weatherman', an extreme weather damage recovery project which restored five C-130s to airworthiness.
• 2013 - Queen's Award for Enterprise (Innovation category) for the design and delivery of the world's first deployable CT scanner.
• 2013 - Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology (Min DEST) Award for the rapid conversion of two commercial BAe 146-200QC (Quick Change) aircraft to RAF inventory.
