Following the launch of 28 East, the aircraft transaction specialist, just over a year ago in Dubai, the Switzerland-based company will be making its debut appearance at this year's Dubai Air Show where it will showcase for sale an Airbus Corporate Jet, ACJ319.
The aircraft entered service in 2008 and has been with the same owner since completion. With just 1000 hours of utilisation, an interior configured to hold 19 passengers, and a range of 5500 nautical miles, 28 East believes the aircraft will stimulate great interest from the Middle Eastern market where trends indicate that larger, long-range aircraft continue to be popular with buyers.
"We think it will be really popular too as the cabin is extremely versatile," says Luca Madone, partner 28 East, about the interior, which is split into four compartments. The forward cabins can be arranged to provide dining space for twelve, a relaxed lounge, or forward facing corporate seating; whilst the aft two sections can be switched between relaxation area or bedroom configuration. Alternatively the cabin can seat up to 19 passengers comfortably. A large private washroom also incorporates a shower that is accessed from the aft bedroom. Scatter cushions, throws and a rich wood veneer, provide stylish accents throughout, breaking up the neutral tones of the leather, carpet and soft furnishing. "It's an extremely comfortable, relaxing aircraft and ideal for passengers needing to travel long distances with larger groups. It really is exactly the type of aircraft the younger Middle Eastern market likes."
28 East is aiming to achieve the best possible transaction for their client whilst ensuring the buyer is completely satisfied with the process. "28 East prides itself on sourcing the best possible aircraft to suit the mission needs of potential purchasers and really this type of aircraft is perfect for the Middle Eastern buyer, hence our decision to make our first appearance at Dubai Air Show," adds Madone.
