Aviator steps up the hospitality at this year's Farnborough AirshowAviator, the TAG owned hotel located adjacent to TAG Farnborough Airport, is set for a full house at the 2016 International Airshow this week as more and more executives and exhibitors choose the convenience of staying locally.
"We look forward to welcoming over 2,500 guests this week," says General Manager Mark Ashton, with visitors coming from virtually all corners of the globe. "We still have some limited availability and are urging guests to contact us as soon as possible to secure our final few hospitality tickets and available rooms. In addition, several blue chip aerospace companies are once again taking advantage of the hotel's fine hospitality."
"Our corporate offering is especially attractive to the business aviation and financial services fraternities who like to entertain with some privacy and in style. The Aviator's Terrace is the best environment to watch the air display."
"We are doing things differently this year and offering flexible packages for the first time. So if a company wants to book hospitality for a single day for say four to five guests, enjoy our locally sourced food and fine wines in the Brasserie, we can accommodate that. We still have some limited availability." Prices start from £85 for a gourmet three-course lunch, guests can enjoy unparalleled views of the afternoon's air display from the hotel's Terrace, as well as convenient access to Aviator's private Show entrance at the end of Gate B.
The Swan gastro pub is a new addition this year.
New this year TAG also has the newly refurbished The Swan gastropub, which sits at the end of the runway. It will be open all week, offering guests festival style food and drink options including an outside bbq, hog roast and fresh pizzas from the outside pizza oven. Prices start from £5 per person and limited tickets are available. The Swan will also be open as usual for lunch and dinner from Monday to Thursday and will be open through to 11 pm each evening, but pre-booking is essential.
Aviator has welcomed some very influential executives during the Airshow in previous years, including A List movie and football stars who have used the hotel as a base as they researched aircraft purchases.
Aviator is one of the UK's most striking design hotels and works seamlessly with the Airport to complement services to crew and passengers alike. The hotel consists of 168 bedrooms, a renowned Brasserie, Brasserie Bar, One Eleven, Sky Bar, Sky Lounge, seven meeting rooms and an exercise studio. The hotel is regularly fully booked across all areas and it owes it success to the passion and enthusiasm of the hotel and the destination itself.
