FAI Technik, the maintenance division of German-headquartered FAI Group, today announced the appointment of Dario Fetahović as Head of Maintenance Planning and Customer Support with immediate effect. Dario joins from Bombardier Aerospace's Amsterdam Service Centre where he held the same position, bringing extensive experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance, and especially in base maintenance of Bombardier aircraft working with a global customer network.
Based at Albrecht Dürer Airport in Nuremberg, FAI Technik provides MRO services for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft, including the FAI rent-a-jet AG operated fleet. It also supports FAI´s dedicated fleet of air ambulance jets which for the first time in the company´s history has utilized more than 10,000 hours annual air time with total fleet utilization approximately 13,500 hours in 2016.
Dario will be primarily responsible for the structuring and planning of aircraft maintenance events, administration of aircraft documents and particularly maintenance records. He will provide the point of contact for FAI's customers in creating proposals and invoicing of maintenance tasks as well as contracting partners.
