Leading global aerospace and defence supply chain provider, Pattonair, has received Safran Landing Systems' top supplier award, the "Performance Excellence Award", which recognised the quality of Pattonair's customer service.
Pattonair supports Safran Landing Systems from its facility at Suzhou in China, providing supply chain services for the A320 programme. The service, Direct Line Feed (DLF) and unique kitting solutions direct to the build carts for the C Class parts, is tailored to meet the requirements of Safran Landing Systems with Pattonair taking responsibility for managing the supply chain complexity and costs.
On receiving the award David Schaffar, President of Pattonair Asia, said, "Safran Landing Systems is an important customer to Pattonair and we are very appreciative of being given this award for our service".
The award is the second endorsement for Pattonair from within the Safran Group; last year Safran Helicopter Engines awarded Pattonair Gold Supplier status, which recognises supply partners who can guarantee the best performance and provide a real return on long-term investment.
Pattonair serves a 2000 plus blue chip customer base spanning engine, airframe and systems customers, including Rolls-Royce, GE, Pratt & Whitney, Airbus, MROs and the Aftermarket, from its global network of dedicated facilities.
