17th May, Geneva, Switzerland - Today, at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva Al Bateen Executive Airport announced the launch of a brand new FBO handling service which it has named DhabiJet.
DhabiJet will bring together all of the requirements for Business Aviation customers visiting Al Bateen under the management and co-ordination of a single highly trained DhabiJet Customer Service Team headed by Pauline Smith who steps into the role as Senior FBO Manager. Smith brings many years of FBO experience with Harrods Aviation and latterly Execujet in Dubai.
The new service will provide a 'one stop shop' contact point focused on delivering exceptional customer service using the existing executive terminal. Furthermore work has commenced on a state of the art crew and flight operations centre adjacent to the executive terminal which will provide a range of dedicated crew amenities such as a relaxation lounge, sleep rooms, showers and rest areas along with easy access to new flight planning facilities.

Al Bateen executive Airport, the dedicated business aviation airport of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), has recently announced its April traffic numbers which indicated 25% growth in commercial aircraft movements for the month compared with the same period last year. The figures follow hard on the heels of its 18% growth shown in Q1 2011 activity versus Q1 2010.
