The success of the strategic alliance formed by Air Partner and CitationAir by Cessna last September has led to the launch of a new service as part of CitationAir's North American Jet Access programme.
From today (1 June) the Jet Access product also covers Europe and the Middle East using aircraft chartered through Air Partner Private Jets. Provided customers purchase 50 hours of flying time within North America and 10 hours within Europe or the Middle East. They now have more flexibility for their private aviation needs and convenient access to aircraft for their international and domestic flying. Jet Access offers all the financial benefits of fractional aircraft ownership without the capital investment, asset valuation risk and remarketing fees.
"Jet Access customers now have the one-stop shopping convenience of arranging for their domestic, European and Middle Eastern flying through one process," said Steve O'Neill, CitationAir's President and CEO. "Many US domestic private aviation customers often need to travel within Europe and the Middle East, and CitationAir now offers a viable alternative to meet those needs."
David Macdonald, Director of Air Partner Private Jets, added: "Since our alliance with CitationAir started last year we have been pleased with its mutual success and the expansion of Jet Access is another visible demonstration of the strength, flexibility and high quality of the services provided by both our organisations."
Additional benefits of the programme include guaranteed rates for 12 months through a single contract, simplified billing for North America, Europe and Middle East flight activity, and the ability to use Europe and Middle East hours domestically within North America.
Air Partner, a global provider of aircraft charter with its own JetCard programmes covering Europe, the Middle East and Continental US, serves industry, commerce, governments and individuals. Its initial alliance with CitationAir last autumn saw the company appointed to look after CitationAir's customers flying privately in Europe at a fixed, all-inclusive price with guaranteed aircraft availability on a trip-by-trip basis.
CitationAir, a North American leader in private jet transportation solutions, has made major investments in the past few years despite the economic downturn. The company reorganised and conducted an award-winning rebranding campaign in 2009, added more programmes to its customer offerings in 2010 and 2011, and continues to innovate both in product and service offerings. The company also recently offered recalls to all of its furloughed pilots.
