Vueling has garnered 9,000 fans on its recently launched international Facebook profile. It is the first European airline to offer a fully integrated search engine on Facebook.
Vueling, the new generation airline, has garnered 9,000 fans on its recently launched international Facebook profile Facebook.com/VuelingEurope. The page was launched one month ago and offers a wide range of promotions and special offers, news, useful information and features for Vueling travelers.
'Vueling Europe' presents a fully integrated search engine that users can incorporate into their profiles and use to book flights. Available in nine different languages, 'Vueling Search Engine' can easily be shared with friends or followers via blogs or websites and can be found at Vueling's Facebook profile.

Its sister page, the Spanish version 'Vueling People' has already secured more than 125,000 fans thanks to initiatives like 'Vueling Day' and "7th Vueling Anniversary", which gave away ten flights every hour during one day.
Vueling and Social Media:
Vueling is very focused on adopting new technology that is both quick to access and interactive. The airline has an online presence on a number of different social networking sites including Twitter, YouTube and Flickr, as well as Facebook.
Through the Twitter account @vueling, the company offers general customer information such as new routes, events, offers and special announcements; @vuelingclients offers the opportunity for suggestions and queries on Vueling bookings and services and YouTube provides the best videos about destinations and special events such as 'FLY ME I'M FAMOUS', an exclusive on board session from DJ and producer David Guetta and singer Taio Cruz presenting their latest single.
About Vueling: Vueling was launched in July 2004 with a fleet of two Airbus A320s, four routes and the objective of providing excellent customer service at a competitive price.
During the 2011 summer season Vueling will operate a 47-strong aircraft fleet serving 52 airports in 23 countries throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Six of these airports are permanent bases of operation (Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga, Bilbao and Valencia) with a seventh one, Ibiza, in operation during the summer season only. In April 2011, Vueling introduced two new international bases, Amsterdam and Toulouse, which are further contributing to the international growth strategy of the airline.
