The FBO, at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Turkey run by Bilen Air Service in strategic partnership with ExecuJet Middle East today revealed the latest numbers for the 2 months after starting the strategic partnership in Turkey. The full service FBO reports a 30% increase in movements and is expected to grow further towards the end of 2011.
"We are very pleased that the concept of teaming up our local knowledge with ExecuJet's service expertise and international profile has been successful already" states Hakan Celt, President Bilen Air Service. "After signing the strategic partnership with ExecuJet we have had 14 new foreign operators using our services already! It is a reaffirmation to us that taking this step was the right one going forward".
The FBO is predicting more traffic after Dubai Airshow and their goal is having a 50% increase on the monthly traffic volume by the end of March 2012. Mark Abbott, ExecuJet Group FBO Director says "both companies have put a lot of effort in this cooperation and I am very happy that their work is already getting some positive feedback. We are very much looking forward to the coming months!"
The facility itself is still growing and undergoing a full refurbishment to incorporate the corporate style of both companies. The latest addition being a new 1500 sq. mt. hangar parking area with 14 business rooms and 12 storage units. The facility offers private crew restrooms with beds, TV, Internet and Showers.
The hangar is located just in front of the single taxiway with access to General Aviation Terminal. At Istanbul Atatürk Airport, the GA ramp has only limited parking space. The best solution to avoid this parking congestion is to find a suitable hangar for overnights. "We believe that it was a wise decision of Bilen Air Service to invest in a new hangar at Istanbul Ataturk airport on the basis of a growing strategic partnership with ExecuJet" stresses Hakan Caglayan, General Coordinator FBO Istanbul.
ExecuJet Middle East will be celebrating this partnership together with Bilen Air Service at Dubai Airshow on Monday, November 14 at 2 pm at the ExecuJet stand E370. Come and join us when "Turkey meets Dubai".
