With just four weeks to go until the 2012 Farnborough International Airshow the build- up is not only well underway at the airport, but also at the adjacent Aviator Hotel as it prepares to welcome its corporate hospitality guests.
1,500 bottles of champagne, 3,000 canapés, and 3,000 hospitality and passes have been ordered to satisfy the demands of the corporate guests. Bookings for the Brasserie tables have already been taken from financiers, legal teams and a strong contingent of business aviation executives. The majority of the private dining rooms and meeting rooms are now booked throughout the show and just forty per cent of the corporate hospitality tables remain.
Following the success of Aviator's Farnborough 2010, new benefits have been made available to clients for 2012 to ensure even more exclusivity for the Brasserie diners. This year clients who book a corporate table in the Brasserie will have exclusive access to the hotel's much sought after private terrace, which provides the perfect place from which to view the afternoon air displays. Other hotel guests and restaurant users will only have access to the terrace after 5pm when the air show has closed.
The corporate hospitality clients will be treated to a champagne reception, followed by a delicious three-course lunch created by Head Chef Luke Wheaton. As the afternoon air displays commence, summer cocktails can be enjoyed on the terrace, overlooking the runway. Guests will have privileged use of Aviator's private car park and can also take advantage of Aviator's adjacent private entrance to the Airshow, so avoiding the queues. There is an open bar until 5.30pm and Aviator's Sky Bar will be open for guests throughout the evening.
"Our aim is to provide our corporate clients with something exclusive and very special for the Airshow this year," said Aviator General Manager Michael Helling. "We combine champagne, fine food and the very best seats in the house for the air display, to offer the ultimate Airshow corporate hospitality package. Several blue-chip companies have already booked appreciating the ultimate convenience of being in situ for the duration of the show and knowing that Aviator offers the most comfortable and attractive option for VIP clients."
Complementing Aviator's style and brand exclusive watch designer Breitling returns as a significant sponsor at the hotel for 2012. The partnership demonstrates the quality of the Aviator offering and provides Breitling with a high visibility location at the Airshow entrance, situated just next to the hotel.
Following the interest in the McLaren Top Marque vehicle displayed at 2010, three McLaren vehicles will be parked in front of Aviator's terrace this year for interested parties to view, and adds further cache to the Aviator offering.
