Effective immediately, leading executive ground transportation firm First Class Cars, is expanding its central London presence with a new base at Barclays London Heliport in Battersea.
First Class Cars is a popular and regular sight at the FBOs around the UK and as Barclays London Heliport looks forward to a busy summer with increased traffic owing to the Games, the addition of a preferred chauffeur company, complementing the Heliport's partnerships with boat companies for convenient river access means that its surface transportation options are complete.
"First Class Cars is a long established, reliable and trusted name in the business aviation fraternity and we are very pleased to welcome them at Barclays London heliport," said Business Development Director James Dillon-Godfray.
First Class Cars drivers are all uniformed with tailored suits, each furnished with full knowledge of client destination, and the option to change routes as required. In 14 years the company has grown from a fleet of one vehicle originally driven by Managing Director Graham Coate to a sizeable one employing knowledgeable, smart and customer focused drivers and a 37-strong fleet of sleek black premium vehicles, including the S-class Mercedes saloon, Mercedes Viano, Bentley Continental Flying Spur plus the very popular Rolls Royce Phantom.
Headquartered at London Luton Airport, First Class Cars is also present at London Stansted and London Heathrow and in May opened an office at Farnborough Airport. It is also a regular at Cambridge and London Biggin Hill Airports.
Barclays London Heliport is the only heliport in London open for traffic during the Olympics. Opening hours are 0700 to 11 pm. The heliport is owned by The Reuben Brothers, who also own London Oxford Airport.
