With Vueling's newly re-designed website, customers will now find it even easier to access popular services such as online check-in or to make changes to their flight. In the future, customers will also be able to make a flight reservation in just one 'click' and locate their nearest Vueling airport by geo-location.
Vueling, the new generation airline, has just launched its re-vamped and re-designed website www.vueling.com. The new website will deliver greater usability and easier access to its most popular services which include online check-in, making flight changes and adding extra luggage with just one 'click' from the home page.
The new website is the result of eight years learning how users interact with the website and listening to the needs of its customers through social networks. Its unique features include enhanced optimization whereby customers have quicker access to greater content as well as enhanced efficiency and usability owing to more intuitive navigation.
All web content can be accessed from a variety of media platforms including mobile phones (using the m.vueling.com page) and digital tablets.
In the future, Vueling's website will incorporate more useful tools for passengers including the ability to make a flight reservation in just one 'click'. In addition users will be able to locate their nearest Vueling airport by geolocation and the Vueling website will then adapt the web content according to the user's location.
Another new feature is a much larger area on the home page dedicated to displaying information about the most attractive fares and news about offers on flights up to four months away. Minimum prices by route and by month will also be listed for the most sought after destinations, and information about hotel accommodation and Vueling's new services such as Vueling Pass - a card that allows access to up to ten of Europe's VIP airport lounges will be shown.
The travel search engine has also been adapted to the preferences of travelers. New features include an option enabling users to search by budget and the Vueling website recommends destinations that fit the price, or users can search by a calendar of prices giving them greater flexibility as they can look for the best price to fly to a specific location.
Vueling's new website offers customers more opportunities to interact with the airline via shortcuts to all points of contact such as central reservations, virtual assistant support, newsletter subscription and access to Vueling's social networks on Facebook, Twitter, VuelingNews, Flickr, Youtube and MyVuelingCity available from every page.
Vueling was founded in 2004 with two Airbus A320s serving four routes with the aim of providing excellent customer service at a competitive price. Eight years later, Vueling operates a fleet of 59 Airbus (57 A320 and two A319) at 74 airports throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, offering more than 14 million seats during the summer season 2012.
Vueling's first flights into London arrived in 2009. For summer 2012, with an expanded UK route network, Vueling will operate nine routes from four UK airports: London Heathrow to Bilbao, Galicia, La Coruna and Vigo; Cardiff to Barcelona, Palma and Alicante and from Southampton and Edinburgh to Barcelona.
