AMAC Aerospace is pleased to announce it has been awarded its approval
certificat
e for Continuing
Air
worthiness Management Organisat
ion (CAMO) for its Basel,
Switzerland facility from the UAE's General Civil Aviat
ion
Authority (GCAA).
This enables AMAC to commence full CAMO services on all UAE
registered
air
craft. AMAC can keep track and supervise all necessary
maintenance checks, follow up on and implement regulat
ory
requirements, including regular
air
worthiness reviews for UAE
third party customers.

VIP completions and maintenance specialist AMAC Aerospace is making
strong strides with its plans to expand into wide-bodied
air
craft maintenance. In addition to its already strong maintenance
services on A318/A319/A320/A321 series, B737 classic & new generat
ion
BBJ1/2/3, MD 80 series, Gulfstream large cabin and Bombardier GLX, it gained
Part 145 approval for the B747-400 and B747-8 series last September, in parallel
with the opening of its third (wide-bodied) hangar at
its Euro
Air
port
Basel HQ, complementing their heavy large cabin base maintenance approvals on
the B777,
Air
bus A330 and A340 series.
AMAC Aerospace engineers can perform all major inspections including
repair
s and modificat
ions,
perform Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Customer Bulletins (CB) Service
Bulletins (SB) and
Air
worthiness directive (AD). In
parallel they offer full air
craft interior completion,
avionic repair
s, system upgrades,
entire cabin refurbishments and other installat
ion
undertakings.
