First ever Nigerian Business Aviation Conference to be held by EAN in Lagos.

EAN, the Lagos-based fully integrated FBO service provider is to hold Nigeria's first ever dedicated Business Aviation conference on Tuesday, 7 May, 2013.

The one-day, invite only event, The Nigerian Business Aviation Conference, NBAC, will bring together HNWIs, OEMs, financiers, lawyers, regulatory bodies and industry leaders to discuss the challenges of developing Business Aviation in the region. The event is also being supported by the African Business Aviation Association, AfBAA.

The conference has been designed to provide a platform for raising awareness of the growing business aviation industry in Nigeria and to provide a forum for all stakeholders including Nigeria's premiere business executives and aviation industry leaders to exchange views. It is anticipated the conference will provide the foundations for adopting industry-enhancing regulations in line with growing Business Aviation policies and establish further the business of aviation in Nigeria.

Nigeria's premiere business executives will debate with aviation industry leaders a variety of topics including Nigeria's new government policy on Business Aviation, regulatory challenges, financing issues, and aircraft management. The opportunities for growth in the region will be debated alongside practical issues such as trip planning and security, whilst a manufacturers' panel will focus on the thorny issue of aircraft selection. Chaired by Corporate Jet Investor Editor, Alasdair Whyte, the selection of panels are likely to raise contentious issues making for a lively and interactive symposium.

"Nigeria is such an important country for the growth of business aviation in Sub-Saharan Africa it seemed essential that we addressed at an early stage the issues affecting its growth in a single event," commented Segun Demuren, CEO of EAN. "We are looking forward to welcoming Nigeria's most influential business executives who will have an opportunity to discuss at first hand with the regulatory bodies, banks and lawyers issues that are currently stalling development."

The event will take place at the prestigious Wheatbaker Hotel and will culminate in a gala dinner where attendees can enjoy the best in hospitality and network with industry colleagues.

EAN has a number of sponsorship opportunities available for the event and companies interested in developments in this sector should contact.
